Uniting for health

Dear colleagues, doctors and medical students,

I am very happy to welcome you all on the occasion of the official launch of the organizational work of the Armenian Medical World Congress 2027.

The Congress, held under the hospitable roof of the University, is not just another international event: it is the largest professional gathering of Armenian medical thought on one platform, which will unite renowned medical scientists, researchers, lecturers, clinical specialists, and students from different countries of the world in Yerevan on July 8-10, 2027.

The key direction of this large-scale and significant event is the application of artificial intelligence in medicine.

In addition to the organizational team, the Congress will also have an international advisory board, which will contribute to the enrichment of the content of the program and the expansion of international cooperation.

I am confident that it is an important initiative to present the achievements and opportunities of modern medicine, discuss the current challenges in the field, and jointly outline the paths for future development.

Various sections and plenary sessions, from medical education to narrow professional fields, will ensure the widest possible thematic coverage.

In fact, from a conceptual point of view, the Congress is transforming from a monoethnic medical event into one of the most important gathering places of world medical thought, which was our primary desire and goal.

Taking on the presidency of the Armenian Medical World Congress to be held in Armenia in 2027 is a very exciting mission for us. It is especially important to see how Armenian doctors, researchers and scientists from different parts of the world unite around one platform to exchange knowledge, experience and ideas.

For years, Yerevan State Medical University has been responsibly implementing the development of medical education, promoting scientific research and training new generations of specialists who dedicate their lives to preserving people's health and continuing the mission of public benefit.

The university is determined to contribute to the progress of medicine not only in Armenia, but also in the world.

We are confident that this Congress to be held in Yerevan will give new impetus to the implementation of these goals. Discussions, professional exchanges and emerging connections will lay the foundation for new ideas, effective collaborations and initiatives that will provide long-term results for our country, as well as for the entire Armenian and international medical community.

At the same time, we want the Congress to be not only a scientific and professional platform for the participants, but also a unique opportunity for discoveries, cognition and cultural communication.

From the Congress logo and ideology to the scientific and cultural programs, every detail is aimed at presenting Armenia, its history, values, and hospitality.

Our wish is that, in parallel with the professional connections being formed, the participants will have the opportunity to get to know our country, feel its unique spirit, and discover its rich cultural heritage.

Both the Congress and the new partnerships emerging within its framework, as well as sunny and warm Yerevan, will give all participants precious memories and unforgettable moments without exception.

I cordially invite you all to join this important initiative to shape the future of medicine, bringing together the world's best professional minds around one platform, uniting for the sake of health.
